This dark blue teardrop shaped gem silica cabochon is one of my favorites. Low dome front and flat back with excellent polish on all sides. Some of the cortex can be seen on the right on the backside. This should be hidden when mounted but doesn’t actually distract very much. Not highly translucent but about as good as you get with this dark blue.
